1. Product Catalog

FindMine first needs to access your product information to ingest your products into our system. We recreate each product in your catalog as a FindMine item that contains all the same data attributes as the original.

There are two methods for sharing your product information on an ongoing basis:

Option 1: Drop feed files to FindMine's SFTP server.

Feed files are required to contain specific product information for your catalog. For more, see Product Catalog Guide for a list of all requirements.

Once a feed file has been created and approved, it must be dropped into the FindMine SFTP (sftp.findmine.com). Your account representative will provide you with a unique username and passwords with instructions on how to drop feed files into the SFTP. You will need to set up a recurring feed drop (once per day is typically recommended).

Option 2: Use your product API

If you have a product catalog API, send the integration details to your account representative. This method ensures that product information is always up to date, and more complex/customizable integrations are possible.

TIP: The data needed by FindMine is likely identical to what you are already sending other technology partners such as Google Shopping, ChannelAdvisor, and Bazaarvoice. The vendor relationships are likely managed by your PIM, ERP, ESP, or ecommerce functional teams. If your organization is already sending a product feed, an existing template can be replicated, configured and sent to FindMine. For more information, see Product Catalog documentation.

2. User Experience

You have two options for how you present content to your shoppers / associates / care agents / personal shoppers:

Option 1: Widget

FindMine provides a hosted, ready-to-use JavaScript widget for "Complete the Look" that can be embedded on your product page template. The design will be made to match your site look-and-feel and is compatible with leading commerce and content management platforms. For more, see JavaScript Implementation Guide.

Option 2: API
